BBC Dishonest Reporting on Egypt

Dr. Med7at Bakri | Formerly, UN Senior Advisor for Change Management | Cairo, 30th May 2014

We in the Middle East know that starting 1897 a hundred-year plus strategy was drawn by which the region was to undergo a process, consisting of many steps and several milestones. Twenty years later the first milestone, the 1916 Sykes-Picot Agreement was concluded. Thirty years later, the second milestone took place with the creation of the State of Israel in1947 by a decision of the UN General Assembly. The Western powers were about to achieve the third milestone, which Mr. Bush launched with the turn of the century and called the “Greater Middle East Initiative, would have fragmented region into small powerless entities with Israel emerging as the single power in full command of the region between the Nile and Euphrates and more. Egypt 30th of June revolution stunted the plan and stopped it in its tracks, which explains the frustration and the reaction in the American Administration and in western TV Channels like CNN, BBC, Jazeera, etc.

Reports by CNN Christian Amanpour and Wolfe Blitzer and BBC Orla Guerin Provide good examples of Western media frustration. When I watched BBC Zionist fascist correspondent Orla Guerin reporting from Cairo yesterday on the outcome of the Egyptian Presidential elections, I remembered Iain Dale's call to the BBC to fire Orla Guerin. In 2006, Mr. Dale wrote, “I have never liked Orla Guerin's style of reporting. Far too much comment and emotion. She doesn't report. She emotes.

As a Zionist fascist, she could not help but “emote” her hatred for Egypt and her ignorant bias to the Zionist agenda. Ms. Guerin would better serve the Jewish cause by working for normalcy in a tense belligerent Israel. Israel would be much better off in a friendlier region. Ms. Guerin should remember that Jews were never welcome anywhere in the world as they were in the Middle East, where they enjoyed equal rights and held ministerial posts.

I too think the BBC should fire warmonger Orla Guerin for less than objective news reporting!
